Steven C. Kuether

Steven C. Kuether, 74, of Fond du Lac, died January 23, 2023, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on November 18, 1948, in Fond du Lac, the son of Carl and Elaine (Silah) Kuether. Steven graduated from Goodrich High and was a member of the Fond du Lac Eagles Club. On September 5, 1997, he married Marie Hettenhaus in Fond du Lac. Steven worked at Mercury Marine until his retirement. He liked to travel, go to the casino, golf, and anything sports or muscle car related. His greatest love was spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Marie; son, Scott (Mary Radke) Kuether; two brothers, Mark (Dawn) and Jeffrey (Vicki) Kuether; sister, Christine Keuler; four brothers-in-law, Tony (Janet), Paul, George, and Gary Hettenhaus; sister-in-law; Susan Siegesmund; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers-in-law; James Keuler and Russel Siegesmund.

The visitation will be held on Sunday, January 29, 2023, from 2:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 4:00 PM at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.

The family would like to extend a thank you to the staff at SSM – St. Agnes Hospital, the cardiology department, and ICU for the care and compassion given to Steven. They were always supportive in his battle and never let him give up hope.
