Vivian C. KlimaVivian C. Klima, 81, of 1001 Primrose Lane, formerly of 621 E. Scott Street, Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, November 17, 2005, at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born March 4, 1924, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of F. Everett and Cecelia Konen Streeter. On September 16, 1944, she married Thomas G. Klima at St. Mary's Church in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on January 29, 1981. Vivian graduated from Goodrich High School in 1942. She was employed by the City of Fond du Lac until her retirement in 1986. She enjoyed time spent with family and friends. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Mary's Church. Survivors include her children, Sandra Ilk of Oshkosh, Julie (Rick) Ketter of Ripon, and Timothy and Tony (Jill) Klima, both of Fond du Lac. She is further survived by 11 grandchildren, Brenda (Ken) Gabrielson, and Jodi (Greg) Gelhar of Oshkosh, Herb (Jen) Ilk of Verona, WI, Billie Ketter of Austin, TX, Michael Ketter of Annapolis, MD, Thomas A. Klima of Fond du Lac, Chandra Klima of Sheboygan, Jered and Caleb Klima of Neenah, Gavin and Lindsey Klima, both of Fond du Lac, and seven great-grandchildren. Also surviving are one brother, Everett (Betty) Streeter of Fond du Lac, three sisters-in-law, Ruby Streeter, Alice Streeter, and Kathleen (Norman) Wagner, all of Fond du Lac, and a special friend, Mary Klima of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one son, Joseph A. Klima, four brothers, Henry, Lester, Lyle, and Laurence Streeter. Also preceding her death were her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Charles and Dorothy Klima, and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law, Charles (Carol) Klima, Angeline (Roland) Hausauer, Lorraine (Melvin) Freund, and Helen Klima.



Visitation for Mrs. Vivan C. Klima will be on Monday, November 21, 2005, from 4 to 8 pm at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be on Tuesday, November 22, 2005, at 10 am from Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, and Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am at St. Mary's Church. The Rev. Victor Capriolo and Deacon Pat Gelhar of St. Vincent's Church in Oshkosh will officiate and entombment will be in the Chapel of The Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. The family requests that memorials be directed to the Hospice Home of Hope, Fond du Lac or the Central WI Cancer Program, Fond du Lac.
