Walter A. Biddle

Mr. Walter A. Biddle, 87, of 10 Sycamore Tree Court, died Friday, August 11, 2006, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on May 26, 1919, in Green Lake, the son of Robert & Josephine Buelen Biddle. On December 26, 1955, he married Olive H. Chase in Fond du Lac. Olive preceded Walter in death on July 6, 2005. Mr. Biddle was a member of the Fond du Lac congregation Jehovah's Witnesses. He served in the Marines and than the Army during WWII. He owned Biddle Motors for 41 years.Surviving is daughter; Phyllis (Robert) Vanderpol of Wausaua, three grandchildren; Robin (Mike) Van Oss, Minnetoka, MN, Jonathon (Penny) Vanderpol, Green Bay, WI, Mark (Vickie) Vanderpol, Wausaua; and seven great-grandchildren. His parents, wife and a brother, Robert Biddle, preceded him in death.



A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2006, at 3 pm, at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses. Visitation at the hall will be from 2 pm until the time of services. Lee Washington will officiate and inurnment of cremated remains will be in the Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
