Wayne E. Barton

Wayne E. Barton, age 89, of Waukesha, died Monday, November 27, 2017 at ManorCare Health Services. He was born on September 25, 1928 in Adams County, the son of Frank and Cecelia (Petersen) Barton. On May 15, 1953, he married Florence Zellmer in Waukegan, IL. Wayne worked for Robert W. Nelson Inc. and then was self-employed for many years. Wayne was a workaholic and very proud of his work. He loved the Lord and his church, Apostolic Christian Church. Wayne enjoyed hunting, fishing, motorcycles, and going antiquing.



Survivors include his wife Florence; one daughter, Gay (Terry) Glaser of Houston, TX; one granddaughter, Joelle (James) Monroe of Falls Church, VA; his siblings, Fran Hamilton, Karen (Paul) Goldapske, Claire (Carol) Barton, Larry (Marsha) Barton, Lewellyn (Darlene) Barton, Loretta (Dale) Young, Suzanne (Don) Aldrich, Lanette (Len) Bruflat; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Marjorie Perry and Russell Barton.



Private family services will take place and burial will take place at Rienzi Cemetery.
