William J. Fife

WILLIAM J. FIFE, JR.William J. Fife, Jr., 68, passed away Sunday, December 4,2005 at Villa Loretta Nursing Home, Mt. Calvary. Bill was born on January 7, 1937 in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of William J. and Ruth F. Zinkan Fife, Jr. On February 20,1960, Bill married Dianne Disher at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Indianapolis, Indiana. He graduated from Park High School in Indianapolis and attended Indiana, and Purdue Universities. He was a graduate of John Carroll University in Cleveland, Ohio. Bill was a veteran of the U.S. Navy, serving as the company commander and a jet pilot. Bill spent 43 years in the manufacturing business. He adored his daughter and grandchildren, and was a very special husband, father, and grandfather. He loved football and his team was the Indianapolis Colts.Surviving are his wife Dianne, one daughter, Jacqueline Fife and her spouse Darrell Anderson, three grandchildren, Daniel William, Amanda Beth, and Maxwell Russell Fife all of Fond du Lac. He is further survived by his brother Jack Fife, his brother-in-law Richard R. Disher, and his wife Mary, his nieces and nephews, Michele, Monica, Veronica, William and John Fife of Indianapolis, Indiana. Preceding him in death were his parents, his daughter, Ruth Ann in 1970, his granddaughter, Ruth Ann C. Fife in 2005, his in-laws, Gaylord B. andMary Beth Disher.



Visitation will be Saturday, December 10,2005 from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. at the Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Private family prayer services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday. Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery, Indianapolis, Indiana.Memorials appreciated to Villa Loretta Nursing Home or St. Lawrence Seminary in Mt.
