Adam J. Holzman

Adam J. Holzman, age 55, of Fond du Lac, died Friday, May 1, 2026, at his residence after a courageous battle with cancer. He was born on March 23, 1971, in Fond du Lac, the son of Daniel Holzman and Kathy (Parish) McIntosh. Adam graduated from Lighthouse Christian Academy in 1987. On October 14, 1994, he married Carol Ries at St. Joseph’s Church in Fond du Lac. Adam graduated from Moraine Park Technical College in 2000 with a degree in IT. In 2016 he received his bachelor’s degree from Western Governors University. Adam worked in IT support and then as IT Administrator for the Waupun School District from 2000-2025. In 2023, he earned his Master Gardener certification-he loved flowers and gardening, and people were always stopping by the house to admire his yard. Adam was kind and had a generous heart and his faith was very important to him. Adam also had a love for travel. One of his favorite places to visit was The Cotswolds in England.

Survivors include his wife, Carol; his daughter, Whitney (Mike) Zagar; his father, Dan (Leanne) Holzman; his siblings, Brian (Heather) Holzman, Matt (Sarah) Holzman, and Sara (George) Wise; brothers-in-law, Joe (Michelle) Ries, John Potter, Dave Maret; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Kathy McIntosh; his stepdad, William McIntosh; sisters-in-law, Jean Potter, Nancy Singer; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ray and Ginny Ries.

Private family services are being held with burial at Rienzi Cemetery. A celebration of Adam’s life will take place this summer.
