Agnes “Aggie” Malson, 95, passed away peacefully at St. Francis Home, on Thursday, June 11, 2026. She was born December 31, 1930 to Steven and Cecilia Lefeber in St. Joe, WI. In 1948, she graduated from St. Mary Springs High School. Three years later, in 1951, she married the love of her life, Walter Malson on April 28.
Aggie and Wally enjoyed a long, happy life together and raised six children, Ken (Peg) Malson, Keith (Lynn) Malson, Kathy (Tom) Emmert, Mary Jo (Jay) Neumann, Ed (Vicki) Malson, and Tom Malson. With Wally, she was dedicated to her family. She delighted in family events and gatherings and seeing her twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
A lively, high-spirited member of her community, people fondly remembered her as a school bus driver at Johnson Bus. She also worked at St. Agnes Hospital Business Office.
When her beloved Wally died on June 12, 1998, it was a great loss. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Leander (Dorothy) Lefeber, Roger (Joyce) Lefeber, and she is survived by her sisters, Lucille (Bob, deceased) Dassow, Cottage Grove, MN, and Helen (Albin, deceased) Kornetzke, Kiel, WI, her children, and their families.
All her life, she was a dedicated member of Holy Family congregation in St. Peter, WI.
Aggie LOVED living on Lake Winnebago where she raised her family. Her yard was always bright with flowers in the summer. She said the sunsets by her house were the most beautiful on earth. She loved playing cards with her friends, especially Cribbage, Kings Corner, and Sheepshead, bowling at St. Peter’s Lanes, and enjoying a good Old Fashioned. A true fan, she always cheered for her Brewers, Badgers, and Packers.
Aggie was full of life, laughter, and spunk, and she made everyone laugh with her stories. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. We Love you Red Bird.
