Benjamin M. Berg

Benjamin M. Berg, age 43, of Fond du Lac, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017. He was born on February 27, 1974 in Fond du Lac, the son of Cheryl Smith and Glenn Berg. Ben served in the United States Marine Corps. He attended the University of Hawaii-Hilo and earned a BA in linguistics. He loved books, knowledge, music, and challenging conversation.



Survivors include two children, Kealani and Isaiah; one sister, Casey Smith; girlfriend and best friend, Carrie Benson; special mention to Kay Mullens and the Smerling family; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother; and his brother, Timothy Jerdee.



A celebration of life will take place on Saturday, June 24, 2017 from 11 AM until 3 PM at the American Legion, 500 Fond du Lac Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Trier-Puddy American Legion Post #75 Firing Squad will conduct military honors at 12 noon at the Legion. Cremation has taken place.
