Carlyle F. Schubert

Carlyle F. Schubert, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, April 24, 2023 at Crossroads Care Center.  He was born October 4, 1932 in Waupun, son of Richard and Margaret Roth Schubert.   Carl married Shirley Jo Sabel on July 30, 1955 at Church of Peace.  He served in the U.S. Army after high school.  Carl worked for Galloway West until his retirement in 1996.  He enjoyed shooting pool and loved playing cards, cribbage, sheepshead, and solitaire.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter-in-law, Jean Schubert; two granddaughters, Katie Schubert and Jenni Schubert.  He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Keith Schubert; three siblings, Roger (Betty) Schubert, Raymond (Marge) Schubert, and Delores (Ralph) Tudor.

At Carl’s request there will be no services, cremation has taken place.
