Carole A. Shaw

Carole A. Shaw, age 86, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, November 7, 2021, at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on June 28, 1935, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Wilber and Erma (Treptow) Dehnel. On July 6, 1961, she married Eugene Schwandt. He preceded her in death on May 4, 1979. Carole then married Robert Shaw Sr. on October 28, 1983. He preceded her in death on June 22, 2002.



Carole worked for Thurmans Grocery Store, Coach House Gifts, and at St. Agnes Hospital in personnel, the switchboard, and Consultants Lab. She also volunteered for Meals on Wheels. She was very involved with the Red Hat Society and loved going to plays and doing other things with them. Carole loved food, word searches, and spending time with family.



Survivors include her children, Kim Rebedew, Kevin (Kathy) Schwandt; her grandchildren, Amanda Torres, Michael (Anna) Rebedew Jr, Charles (Tiffany) Rebedew; great-grandchildren, Brooke, Blake, Austin, Madison, Paige, Megan, Arya, Blake; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands; one daughter, Mary Holmes; one granddaughter, Stacy Holmes; one sister, Marilynn Batey.



Visitation will take place on Sunday, November 14, 2021, from 11:00 AM until 3:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place. Private family burial will take place Monday, November 15, 2021, at Rienzi Cemetery.
