Charles J. Wuest

Charles J. Wuest, 74, of Fond du Lac, died Monday, August 25, 2025 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born January 8, 1951 in Fond du Lac, the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Dietrich) Wuest. On July 30, 1977 he married Gail McAuly at Salem United Methodist Church. Charles worked as a diesel mechanic until his retirement. He enjoyed shooting pool, fishing, camping, going to car shows, demolition derbies, and races at Slinger Speedway. He was a Packer, Brewer and Badger fan, was known as a social butterfly, and loved spending time with his family.

He is survived by his wife, Gail; two children, Chad (Angela) Wuest and Brittany (Max Kleman) Wuest; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Aviana, and Alivia; three siblings, Peter (Dotty) Wuest, Donald Wuest, and Steve (Barb) Wuest; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; two siblings, Joe Wuest and David Wuest; and sister-in-law, Sue Wuest.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
