Clarence J. Schultz

Clarence J. “Bud” Schultz, 86, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, February 26, 2015 at St. Agnes Hospital with family by his side. He was born January 27, 1929 in Fond du Lac, the son of John and Elsie Schwebke Schultz. Bud was a veteran of the U. S. Army serving from 1952-1954. On November 22, 1952 he married Lila M. Achterberg at Fort Leonard Wood, MO and she preceded him in death on May 26, 1986. Bud worked for the Soo Line Railroad until his retirement in 1984. He also worked many years on the family farm. He was a member of St. Peter’s Lutheran Church. Bud enjoyed watching the Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers and also the news and weather. He loved the warmth of the sun and being on the computer sending and receiving emails. Bud’s church was also very important to him.



He is survived by his daughter, Barbara (Douglas) Ondrasek; step grandchildren, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Lila.



The visitation will be held from 9:30 – 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, 1600 S. Main Street, Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 am on Tuesday, March 3, 2015 at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church with Rev. Matthew Guse officiating. Burial will be held at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
