Darvin W. Rickert, Sr.

Darvin W. Rickert, Sr., 88, a resident of Oakfield, died Tuesday, December 10, 2024 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born October 18, 1936 in Fond du Lac, the son of Conrad and Esther Hackbarth Rickert. On February 12, 1955, he married Alice F. Freund in North Fond du Lac, and she preceded him in death January 10, 2013. Before retiring, he farmed in the Oakfield area. 

He is survived by four sons, Darvin (Alice) Rickert, Jr., of Oakfield, John (Renee’) Rickert of St. Peter, Keith (Sue) Rickert of Fond du Lac, and Patrick Rickert of Rosendale; three daughters, Debra Parduhn of the Town of Fond du Lac, Tammy (Stuart Jacobs) Pflum of Rosendale, and Darlene (Richard) Grahl of North Fond du Lac. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. 

Cremation has taken place. Per Darvin’s wishes private family services will be held.
