David L. Wagner

David L. Wagner, 72, of 139 Mary's Ave. died Friday, July 16, 2004 at his residence. David was born March 17, 1932 in Fond du Lac, a son of Michael and Catherine Miller Wagner. On November 10, 1951 he married Mary Fox at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Fond du Lac.David worked for Fox Construction, Zamzow Construction, and Stodola-Maas Construction, retiring in 1996. He was a member of Holy Family Parish and Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie 270. He enjoyed carpentry, woodworking, the Packers, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. Survivors include his wife; Mary of Fond du Lac, four children; Michael (Pamela) Wagner of Nekoosa, Kathleen Wagner of Fond du Lac, Kenneth (Cindy) Wagner of North Fond du Lac, Maureen (Steve) Schuchardt of Fond du Lac, nine grandchildren; Michael (Nicole) Wagner, Matthew (Melissa) Wagner, Brian (Julie) Wagner, Natalie and Mitchell Merwin, Laura (Matt) Barnes, Kenneth and Justin Wagner, Jerome (fiancée Kirsten Iverson) Schuchardt, three great grandchildren; Lindsey and Austin Wagner, Jayden Barnes three sisters; Irene (Charles) Thomas of Fond du Lac, Ruth Buell of Fond du Lac, Blanch Rahl of Fond du Lac, brother and sister-in-laws, many nieces and nephews, and his two feathered friends, Herbie and Gert. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son; Robert, two infant sons, one infant daughter, two brothers, and four sisters.



Visitation for Mr. Wagner will be held on Tuesday, July 20, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 9:15 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home and at 10:00 A.M. at Holy Family Parish-Sacred Heart Church with Rev. John Radetski officiating. Entombment will follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum.The staff of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
