David L. Olsen

David L. Olsen, 64, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, April 9, 2026, at his residence. He was born on April 26, 1961, in Fond du Lac, the son of Cornelius and Elizabeth (Reinke) Olsen. David proudly served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Church of Our Savior Evangelical Lutheran Church in Fond du Lac. David enjoyed movies, Christmas cookies, and being in his running club. He loved his dogs, Snickers, Zoe, Chloe, and Muffin.

He is survived by his sister, Sandy (special friend, Scott Blunk) Christie; two nephews, Andrew and Aaron Christie; two great nephews, Elijah and Remy Christie; Aunt Pat Reinke; and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cornelius and Elizabeth; maternal grandparents, John and Inez Reinke; and paternal grandparents, Christian and Hannah Olson.

At David’s request, no services are being held. Cremation has taken place. Burial at Rienzi Cemetery will occur at a later date.
