Dolores "Dolly" S. Schneider

Dolores “Dolly” S. Schneider, age 88 died on Wednesday July 29, 2026, AT SSM Hospice Home of Hope. She was born September 14, 1937, in Mt. Calvary, WI, the daughter of Emanuel and Pauline (Casper) Schneider. Dolly worked at Wells Mfg. in Fond du Lac for over 40 years in their shipping department and served as a union steward for many years. She was an avid bowler and participated in numerous out of state tournaments. She also enjoyed playing Ladies Softball in her younger years. She played for Wilbur Pfeiffer Trucking and West Side Lanes as a pitcher, shortstop, and first baseman. She was a member of the Holy Family Parish. Throughout her life, she enjoyed participating in most sports activities.

Survivors include her sisters, Rita Gallitz, Lucy Brunette, Annie (Robert) Guse; sister-in-law, Irene Schneider; She was preceded in death by her parents; six brothers, Reuben (Irene), Conrad (Joyce), Servatius (Mary), twins Robert (Gerry), and Roger (Margie) Schneider, and Fred Schneider; sisters, Veronica (Ames) Deaver, Bernice Huck, and Marie (Edgar) Wellnitz; brothers-in-law, John Gallitz, LeRoy Koenigs, and Terry Brunette.

The visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 5, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church, Holy Family Parish, 200 South Peters Avenue, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. Entombment to occur in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice Home of Hope or ADRC.
