Doris E. Wiese, age 76, of N3293 Oak Center Rd, Oakfield, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, June 22, 2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. She was born on July 31, 1927 in the Town of Waupun the daughter of Herbert and Ruth Pollock Wilkinson. On December 22, 1945 she married Harvey C. Wiese at St. Luke's Lutheran Church Oakfield. He preceded her in death on April 25, 1996. Doris and her husband owned and operated Wilkinson/Wiese Grocery Store for many years in the town of Oak Center. She was also employed by the Badger Yards and Jacobson's Farmers Supply. They were lifelong Oakfield area residents. She was a member of Church of Peace-United Church of Christ. She enjoyed playing bingo and traveling. SURVIVORS: her special great niece Tracy (Steve) Cousins and their children Valerie and Britton of Hedgesville, WV, her very special family, Ed (Jackie) Henke of Fond du Lac, Shellee (Tim) Schipper and Little Eli of Fond du Lac, Shannon (Dan) Johnson of Waukesha, Tom (Sydney) Henke of Oakfield, Jamie (Joyce) Henke of Oakfield, Wendy (Charlie) Hounsel of Fond du Lac, William Henke of Oakfield, Julie (Rich) Franke of Oakfield, Michael Henke of Oakfield, Don (Carol) Henke of Fond du Lac, Cheri Wilcox on Simpsonville, KY, Dan (Peggy) Henke of Brownsville, sisters in law, Ruth Bartz of Oakfield, Eleanor Schellpfeffer of Fond du Lac, and Lucinda (Lee) Lund of Fond du Lac, and a Very Special friend Betty Hoffman of Oakfield, Doris is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Her parents, her husband Harvey, two brothers, and one daughter preceded her in death.



VISITATION: Saturday, June 26, 2004 from 11 A.M. until 2 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Saturday, June 26, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Weikel and the Reverend Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Burial will follow at Avoca Cemetery, Oakfield. In lieu of flowers, a memorial has been established in her name at the Oakfield Volunteer Fire Department/First Responder Unit.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
