Eugene W. "Gene" Eggert

Eugene “Gene” W. Eggert, 84, of Fond du Lac, died Sunday, March 22, 2015 at his residence. He was born in Milwaukee on December 3, 1930 the son of Walter and Esther Lange Eggert. He served proudly in the U.S. Marine Corps in Korea. On May 21, 1955 he married Marion Faubel in Milwaukee. Gene was employed by NCR (National Cash Register) in Fond du Lac for 40 years. He was a longtime member of Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran.



SURVIVORS: Gene is survived by his wife Marion Eggert, Fond du Lac, three children, Dale (Laura) Eggert, Minnetonka, MN, Lynn (Michael) Weber, Eau Claire, Kurt (Karen) Eggert, Sussex, four grandchildren, Matthew (Ashley) Weber, Anne Weber, and Joshua and Joseph Eggert. He is further survived by his brother Elmer (Betty) Eggert, West Bend and two sisters, Ann Hopkins, Columbus, OH and Florence (Martin) Panning, Mequon. He was preceded in death by his parents.



VISITATION/CELEBRATION: The family will receive friends on Sunday, March 29, 2015 from 12:00 - 2:00 P.M. at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran, 363 South Main Street, Fond du Lac. FUNERAL: Memorial services will be held on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 P.M. at Church of Our Saviour Evangelical Lutheran with Reverend Matthew Agee officiating. Cremation has taken place.
