Floralee "Lee" (Ziegler) Myers, passed away Thursday, July 30, 2026 at the age of 90. She was born in Fond du Lac, WI on July 24, 1936 to Fred and Clara (Tounzen) Ziegler, Sr. Lee graduated from Fond du Lac Senior High School, Class of 1954. On July 3, 1954 Lee married Jan "Bucky" Myers at Hope Lutheran Church. They celebrated their 50th Anniversary in 2004. They were blessed with 54 years of marriage, before Bucky passed away in 2009.
Lee worked at Mercury Marine for 28 years, retiring on January 1, 1996. She received the President's Award for her part in bringing in a new pilot, run successfully and ahead of schedule. Lee was the first and only woman to receive this award, as it was discontinued after that year. Lee was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Oakfield. Lee enjoyed watching sports on TV. She was an avid fan of the Brewers and Wisconsin Badgers basketball. She also enjoyed game shows.
Lee is survived by her daughter, Barbara (Matt) Beck of Tucson, AZ; her son, Steven (Melissa) Myers of Oakfield; grandchildren, Chelsey (Justin) Zahn and their daughter, Millie of Montana, Makena Myers of Fond du Lac, John Beck of Arizona, and Jordan (Miranda) Myers and their daughters, Sage and Sophia of Fond du Lac; sister-in-law, Judi Walters of Fond du Lac; nieces, nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bucky; three brothers, Fred Ziegler, Jr., Ronald Ziegler, Sr., and Jim Ziegler, Sr.
The family extends a special thank you to the staff of Harbor Haven Nursing Home and Mary and the staff of St. Croix Hospice for the care and compassion given to Lee and her family.
The visitation will be held Saturday, August 8, 2026 from 9:30 – 11:00 AM at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, 245 S. Second Street in Oakfield. The funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday at church with Rev. Matthew Schwartz officiating. Private entombment will be held in Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
Memorials can be directed to St. Luke's Lutheran Church or St. Croix Hospice in Lee's name.
