Frances M. Chaney

Frances M. Chaney, 86, a resident of Fond du Lac since December of 2011, died on Saturday, November 17, 2012 at ManorCare. She was born September 4, 1926, in Bristol, MD, the daughter of James F. and Eleanor G. Ireland Taylor. She is survived by her daughter, Sharon (Thomas) Costello of Fond du Lac, a son, Donald E. (Shirley) Powell, Sr. of Annapolis, MD, a sister, Phyllis Glascoe of Edgewater, MD, a son-in-law, Dennis Hobbs, of Buckhannon, WVA, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, including her great-granddaughter, Frances May Costello, who was names after her, and great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a daughter, Judythe Hobbs, a step-son, Jimmy Chaney, a great-grandson, three brothers and three sisters.



Funeral services will take place in Annapolis MD, and burial will be in Owensville, MD. Hardesty Funeral Home, 12 Ridgely Avenue, Annapolis MD will be in charge of arrangements.
