Gail E. Schindler

Gail E. Schindler, age 66, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Artisan Assisted Living. She was born on April 15, 1949, the daughter of Daniel and Florence (Trettien) Hempel. On August 16, 1985 she married Marc Schindler. Gail retired from the Fond du Lac County Jail as cook. She enjoyed puzzles, coloring, doing crafts, bingo, reading, and loved cooking.



SURVIVORS: daughter Christine (Gary) Malson; grandson, Jacob Byler; step-grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Gabriel, and Haleigh; step son, Tom (Angie) Schindler; grandchildren, Theron, Isabelle, William, and Gloria; sisters, Margo Hempel, Beth (Jim) Karlson, Terry (Jerry) Stollfuss; brother, Scott (Pam) Hempel; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; brother in law, Michael Kotlowski, one nephew, Warren Hansen.



A memorial service will take place on Monday, March 28, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home, 524 N. Park Ave, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. Cremation has taken place. Interment of cremains will follow the service at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
