Gail T. Wagner

Gail T. Wagner, age 87, died on Monday, April 13, 2026, at St. Francis Home. She was born on June 17, 1938, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Aloy and Beatrice (Gross) Wehner. On May 3, 1958, she married Jerry Wagner at St. Mary’s Church in Fond du Lac. Gail worked at AC Nielsen and then went on to waitress at various locations over the years, including Sunset Supper Club, Lake Aire, Dominic’s, and Left Guard. Gail enjoyed playing cards, gambling, bowling and she was a great cook. Gail was a member of Eagles Aerie #270.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; her children, Renee Wagner and Randy (Julie) Wagner; grandchildren, Jeremy (Melanie) Wagner and Kari (Ethan) Dade; great-grandchildren, Lennon and Joella; one brother, Dick (Mary) Wehner; and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Louis and Irene Wagner; one brother, Gary Wehner; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Jack (Ellie) Bestor and Joe (Millie) Schmitz.

Visitation will take place on Monday, April 20, 2026, from 10:00 AM until 12 noon at Holy Family Catholic Church, 271 4th St. Way, Fond du Lac, WI, 54937. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at the church at 12 noon. Burial will follow the service at St. Charles Cemetery.
