Gail A. Wuest

Gail Wuest, age 71, of Fond du Lac, died Thursday, August 6, 2026, at her residence. She was born on December 11, 1954, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Dale and Lillian (Bell) McAuly. Gail was a graduate of Goodrich High School. On July 30, 1977, she married Charles Wuest at Salem United Methodist Church. He preceded her in death on August 25, 2025. She enjoyed shooting pool, playing cribbage, camping, and reading. She was an avid fan of the Green Bay Packers and always watched whether they won or lost. Most of all she loved spending time with friends and family.

Survivors include her two children, Chad (Angela) Wuest and Brittany (Max Kleman) Wuest; three grandchildren, Chelsea, Aviana, and Alivia; her siblings, Rita McAuly, Dennis McAuly, Gary (Lorrie) McAuly; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her sisters, Dawn Zech and Linda Commo; her brother, Daniel McAuly; and an infant sister.

A private Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place.
