Genevieve L. McCormick, 84, a resident of All About Life Rehabilitation Center died Tuesday, May 04, 2004 at St. Agnes Hospital. Genevieve was born December 3, 1919 in Milwaukee, a daughter of James and Hattie Carpenter Dugan. She was married to Earl McCormick in Milwaukee. He preceded her in death in 1986.Genevieve worked for Wells Manufacturing and as a clerk at Model Laundry for 30 years, retiring in 1996. She was a member of Holy Family Parish-St. Louis Church and it's St. Anne Society. She was also a member of the Catholic War Veterans Good Shepherd Post 1329 and held many offices including past state president. She belonged to the American Legion Auxiliary and the Eagles Club Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing bingo, eating at Schreiner's Restaurant, and going for long rides. Survivors include three daughters; Patricia (Bernard) Simon of Johnsburg, Alice (Walter) Goddard of Kiel, Susan Jane (Louis "Junior") Schwartz of Fond du Lac, 13 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren; one brother; Patrick Dugan of Milwaukee, one brother-in-law; Roy (Catherine) McCormick of Green Bay, two sister-in-laws; Alice McCormick of Grafton and Bernadine Dugan of Milwaukee. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one brother, two sisters, two brother-in-laws, and one sister-in-law.



Visitation for Mrs. McCormick will be held on Sunday, May 9, 2004 from 3-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 9, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Entombment will follow on Monday at Calvary Cemetery, Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum. The staff of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
