Germaine Rose Patt

Germaine Rose Patt, 97, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother extraordinaire, of the Town of Friendship, passed into eternal life, Monday, November 17, 2025, with family at her side. She was born in Fond du Lac on November 14, 1928, a daughter of Ernest and Pearl (Welsh) Kubelt. Germaine was a 1946 graduate of Goodrich High School. She married the love of her life, Junior Lee Patt, at Immanuel Trinity Lutheran Church on May 15, 1948; they enjoyed life together for sixty-five years! Junior preceded her in death on February 17, 2013.

Germaine was formerly employed by Infant Socks, Green Giant Canning Company, and retired from the North Fond du Lac School District as a cook after twenty years making delicious meals and fabulous homemade bread for the kids. She was a lifelong member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and a member of the Brothertown Indian Nation. Germaine was on the board of Music Parents, loved camping all over America, snowmobiling, fishing, gardening, feeding cardinals, orioles, and hummingbirds, and was a diehard Green Bay Packers fan. But most of all she loved her family. She will be remembered by family and friends for her delicious chocolate chip cookies that she never seemed to run out of.

Surviving are three sons, Jim (Gail) Patt of North Fond du Lac, Jeff (Nicole) Patt of Gladwin, MI, and Dan (Kari) Patt of Van Dyne; son-in-law, Ron Goldapske of Van Dyne; seven grandchildren, Becky (Tracey), Ryan (Jessica), Jesse (Mandy), Casey (Josh), Dusty (Tammy), Grace, and Jackson; and thirteen great-grandchildren, Drake, Caledon, Camden, Amelia, Novella, Max, Wyatt, Henry, Kit, Ivy, Otto, Everlee, and Jasper. She is further survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Vickie Goldapske; a great-granddaughter, Charlotte Patt; two brothers, Dalton Kubelt, and Ronald Kubelt, and her sister, Virginia Kubelt Harney.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM, Monday, November 24, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at the funeral home, beginning at 11:30 AM, Tuesday, November 25, 2025, with visitation prior from 10:30 AM – 11:30 AM. Burial in Estabrooks Cemetery will follow the service.
