Gregory W. Ninneman, 70, of North Fond du Lac passed away in the loving company of family on July 25th, 2026, following a brave battle with cancer. Greg was born July 3, 1956, the son of Ray and Helen (Pers) Ninneman.
Greg graduated in 1974 from Horace Mann High and started working at Raulf’s Archery where he learned the craft of making wooden bow and arrows and honed his skills as an avid bow hunter. He then joined the SooLine Railroad in NFDL for a short period of time. Greg began his 37-year career at Oshkosh Corporation as an expert welder and later moving to a maintenance technician where he retired from in 2022.
Greg filled his time over the years with many activities, including his love for fishing on Lake Winnebago, especially for his favorite, walleye. He loved both gun and bow hunting at his beloved cabin with friends and family. He enjoyed the land and outdoors very much. Greg took great pride in land conservation, cutting wood and cooking chicken on a campfire, even if it took 2 hours to make. He enjoyed maintaining his tractors, including an antique tractor belonging to his father. His daughter and cousins had great times bombing around on the “gator” out of sight from Greg. In his early years he loved riding his Harley.
Greg always had the best of times with all of his buddies and will forever be “Doozer” to many.
Greg is survived by his mother, Helen; his daughter Celeste (Alex) Braatz, his brother Ray Ninneman, his sister Jackie Ninneman and sister JoAnn (Rick) Fink along with many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Greg was preceded in death by his father, Ray J. Ninneman.
