Harvey L. Lemke

Harvey L. Lemke, Sr, 87, of 485 Washington Street, Fond du Lac died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born March 1, 1920 in Fond du Lac, the son of Fredrick and Louise DeNell Lemke. On October 23, 1948 he married Carol B. Foy at St. Mary's Catholic Church and she preceded him in death on April 13, 1993. Harvey was employed at Giddings and Lewis. He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing and making duck decoys. He also enjoyed playing his harmonica for his grandchildren. Harvey was a life member and one of the founders of West Scott Gun Club. SURVIVORS: three sons, Harvey (Susie) Lemke, Jr. Fond du Lac, Jim Lemke, Rosendale, Tom Lemke, Van Dyne; one daughter, Mary (Jeff) Mohr, Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Dan (Deanna) Lemke, Christy (Dave) Hoffman, Brian (Tami) Lemke, Jason (Sara) Lemke, Mike Lemke, Jamie Lemke; seven great-grandchildren, Marrisa, Christopher, Jordan, Autum, Isabella, Madison and Emma. He is further survived by a special friend, Kris Acherman, Florida. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Carol, a son, Mark, three brothers, three sisters.



VISTATION: will be Wednesday, March 7, 2007 from 4-7PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A Liturgy of the Word Service will be held Wednesday at 7PM at the funeral home with Deacon Larry Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
