Helen M. Braun

Helen M. Braun, 103, of Taycheedah, died on November 7, 2025, at St. Francis Home. She was born on July 8, 1922, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of Herbert and Mary (O’Loughlin) Uebel. On May 24, 1952, she married Ambrose E. Braun at St. Joseph’s Church in Fond du Lac. Helen was a member of Holy Family Parish. Her jobs included homemaker, postal clerk at Taycheedah Post Office, and laborer at Rueping Leather in Fond du Lac. In her free time, Helen was an avid reader, loved listening to music, raising her children, and every job you could think a homemaker would do.

She is survived by three sons, Edward (Kathy) Braun and children Andrea, Denise (Jake) Mattson and Kevin Braun; Gregory (Bonnie) Braun and son, Todd (Heidi) Zivkovich and their children, Trey and Estelle, daughter, Teresa McIntosh and her children, Chloe, Elijah, and Ellie; Leo Braun and his children, Rachelle and Lauren; two daughters, Nancy (Robert) Wirtz, and their children, Elizabeth (Adam) Figarsky and their children, Jack and Stella, Madeline (Colin) Julliard; Janet Braun and her daughters, Jessica Breitbach and Michelle (Steve) Brandt and their children, Laura and Emily; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Mary; husband, Ambrose; brother, David (LaVerne) Uebel; sister, Bernadette (Art) Ebert; six sisters-in-law, Martha (Fred) Stephanie, Rose (William) Abler, Olive (Ray) Stephanie, Mary (Peter) Becker, Angela Braun, Sally (Ervin) Schaefer; and six brothers-in-law, Melchior Braun, Alois (Bernice) Braun, Herman (Mildred) Braun, Isidore (Agnes) Braun, Leander (Germaine) Braun, and Alphonse Braun;

The visitation will be held on Monday, November 17, 2025, from 9:00 AM – 11:00 AM at Holy Family Church, 271 Fourth Street Way, Fond du Lac. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow the visitation at 11:00 AM. With entombment to follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
