Howard G. Johnson

Howard G. Johnson, age 88, of Oshkosh, formerly of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, October 9, 2021, at Aurora Medical Center in Oshkosh. Howard was born on February 22, 1933, the son of Hans and Leona (Montreal) Johnson. He served as an Officer in the National Guard and graduated from University of Wisconsin-Superior. Howard owned and operated Howard Johnson Floor Covering in Fond du Lac for fifty years. He was a longtime member of the Elks Club and former member of Hope Lutheran Church.



Survivors include his children, Jeanette Howe of Fond du Lac, Scott (Sharon) Johnson of Fond du Lac; his grandchildren, Curtis Howe, Casey Howe, Christian (Jennifer) Johnson, Andrew (Kimberly) Johnson; six great-grandchildren; three brothers, Gerald Johnson of St. Paul, MN, Ronald Johnson of Hamilton, IL, Tom Johnson of St. Paul, MN; Howard is also survived by the mother of his children, Arnell Johnson; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one daughter, Julie Johnson; one sister, Gloria Johnson.



Visitation will take place on Monday, October 18, 2021, from 4-6 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
