James E. Hassett

James E. Hassett, 91, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, November 19, 2025 at St. Francis Home. He was born August 1, 1934 in Fond du Lac, the son of Ashley and Catherine (Baulne) Hassett. After graduation from Goodrich High School Jim served in the US Navy from 1957 – 1961. He retired from Mercury Marine in 1997.
He is survived by friends, Roger and Beverly Sabel and their family. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The visitation will be held Tuesday, November 25, 2025 from 1:00 – 2:00 PM at St. Francis Chapel. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday in the chapel. Cremation has taken place and burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
