James "Jim" R. Klapperich

James “Jim” R. Klapperich, 83, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, September 22, 2026 at Liberty House. He was born September 20, 1943 in Fond du Lac, the son of Theodore and Josephine (Wendel) Klapperich. After graduation, Jim served in the Army National Guard. On November 19, 1983 he married Diana K. Juenger in Morton, Illinois.

Jim owned and operated K’s Installation Service until his retirement in 2021. He was a founding member of Fondy Vintage Auto Club. He enjoyed fixing old cars, gardening, traveling, golfing, and was proud to grow a banana tree and pineapple in his house.

He is survived by his wife, Diana; four children, Chris Klapperich, Michelle (Todd) Parker, Jacob Klapperich, and Jesse Klapperich; four grandchildren, Kasandra (Corey) Peters, Zach (Shannon) Klapperich, Kodi (Amanda) Parker, and Lucas (Morgan) Parker; and several great grandchildren. He is further survived by his siblings, Marian Klapperich, his twin brother, John (Terri) Klapperich, Joe (Cindy) Klapperich, Leah (William) Mueller, and Ted (Anne) Klapperich; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Ryan Liedke; and siblings, Mike (Ann) Klapperich, Margaret Klapperich, Jaqueline (Don) Jeanty and her twin infant brother.

The visitation will be held Friday, October 9, 2026 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. A memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM on Friday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
