James C. Mundt

James C. Mundt, 72, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, September 13, 2025 at his residence. He was born October 25, 1952 in Sheboygan, the son of Evan and Betty (Russell) Mundt. On July 20, 1974 he married Debra S. Beahm at Church of Peace. James worked many years for Leath Furniture in Fond du Lac.

James enjoyed fishing, playing slow pitch softball, running, and was an avid sports fan, especially the Brewers, Packers, and Badgers.

He is survived by his wife, Debra; two children, Matthew (Leslie) Mundt and Sarah (Gabriel) Deer; five grandchildren, Kalin, Ashley, and Emily Mundt, Lainey and Jaxson Deer; his siblings, Roxanne (Tom) Abraham, Larry (Linda) Mundt, Pat (Jim) Phillipson, Sandy (Mike) Jensen, Marcia (Steve) Zivney, and Barb (Bob) Gorman; brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; father and mother-in-law, LaVere and Alta Beahm; nephew, Derry Abraham; sisters and brothers-in-law.

The visitation will be held Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. The memorial service will follow at 1:00 PM on Thursday at the funeral home. Cremation has taken place.
