James E. Parish

James E. Parish, 86, of South Byron, died Thursday, May 22, 2025 at Prairie Ridge in Waupun. He was born September 3, 1938 in Fond du Lac, the son of Merton and Evelyn (Gongorek) Parish. Jim served in the US Air Force from 1956 to 1960. On June 15, 1963 he married Bonnie A. Petri at Presentation Church in North Fond du Lac. Jim enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and puttering in his garage.

He is survived by his wife, Bonnie; daughter, Patty Parish; brother-in-law, Edward Jacobs; sister-in-law, Victoria (Richard) Schara; his cat, Tofu; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings, Don (Harriet) Parish, David (Margie) Parish, Edward Parish, and Dorothy Jacobs.

Private funeral services will take place. Burial will be held in Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery.
