Janette E. Loberger, 92, of Fond du Lac, died Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Sage Meadows in Fond du Lac. She was born September 1, 1931 in Gillett, Wisconsin, the daughter of Adolph and Hulda (Schlaak) Jaeger. On August 27, 1949 she married Harlen A. Loberger and he preceded her in death on April 9, 1997.
Janette was a seamstress most of her life, owning and operating All-Sew Sewing out of her home for over 60 years. Over the years she sewed many outfits that were donated to children in Africa. She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. She also was active in Al-Anon for many years and collected money for the American Heart Association. Janette enjoyed word puzzles, crosswords, playing cards, watching softball and the Green Bay Packers. Most of all she loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren, attending all of their school activities.
She is survived by four children, Dennis (Diane) Loberger of Grafton, Julie (Dennis) Pflum of Fond du Lac, Lew (Marlene) Loberger of Fond du Lac, and Corey (Robin) Loberger of North Fond du Lac; eight grandchildren, Scott (Adrienne) Loberger, Kevin Loberger, Rebecca (Chad) Anhalt, Shawn (Kristy) Huber, Brady Loberger, Carissa Loberger, Courtney (Gilbert) Wright, and Travis (Emily) Loberger; two step grandchildren, Tracie (Paul) Halfmann and Troy Pflum; six great grandchildren and six step great grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harlen; one son, Dale Loberger; six brothers and one sister.
The visitation will be held Sunday, September 10, 2023 from 1:00 – 3:00 PM at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 606 Forest Avenue in Fond du Lac. The funeral service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday at church. Entombment will be held at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park.
