Jean R. Steffes

Jean R. Steffes, 59, of Fond du Lac, died on Thursday, March 14, 2024, at Hospice Home of Hope. She was born on September 9, 1964, in Fond du Lac, the daughter of John Jack and Barbara (Abraham) Thomm. On June 20, 1995, she married Louis Steffes Jr. in Fond du Lac. Some of Jean’s favorite things were horses, cats, flowers, hiking, swimming, and drinking mojitos with the mint from her garden. 

She is survived by her husband, Louis; four children, Timmy Greene, Tony (Krista) Greene, Ashley (T.J.) Greene, and Lucas Steffes; seven grandchildren, Josephine, Isaiah, Jacob, Aubrey, Jameson, Bentley, and Scarlett; two siblings, Mike and Suzie Thomm; brother and sister-in-law, Jim (Beckie) Steffes and Sherry Rasmussen; mother-in-law, Dorothy Steffes; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Barbara; and father-in-law, Louis Steffes Sr.

The visitation will be held on Saturday, March 23, 2024, from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM at Uecker-Witt funeral Home. The funeral service will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM with entombment to follow at Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery.
