Jeffrey L. Krug

Jeffrey L. Krug, age 79, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, September 13, 2013, at St. Agnes Hospital surrounded by his family. He was born on December 27, 1943, in Fond du Lac, the son of Lester and Leona (Bott) Krug. Jeff was a 1963 graduate of Goodrich High School. On November 20, 1965, he married Karen Klinzing at Saint Cloud Catholic Church. Jeff worked at Mercury for 42 years until retirement. Jeff was very active and enjoyed bowling, golfing, and loved traveling. He was a Big Brother and coached Little League Baseball. Jeff was an avid Green Bay Packers and Milwaukee Brewers fan. Most of all Jeff loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Survivors include his wife, Karen; son, Michael (Jan) Krug and their children Tyson (Madelyn) Krug, Emily (Jake) Gaudynski and their daughter, Margo; daughter, Pamela (Derec) Biertzer and their children Meghan Anderson and her daughter, Lilly, Alyssa (Brenton Baker) Anderson and children, Cooper, Layveon, Jaylonie, and Kendall Biertzer; one sister, Kathi Flohr; one brother, Stephen (Claire) Krug; in-laws, Marlene (Frank) Bartell, Tess (Ron) Butz, and Tom Detlaff; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one sister, Linda Detlaff; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gregor and Rosie Klinzing; brothers-in-laws, Ed Klinzing and Bob Klinzing, sister-in-law Eileen Klinzing.

Visitation will take place on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church, 1010 Adams Ave, North Fond du Lac, WI, 54937. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church at 1:00 PM. Cremation will follow the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran School.
