Joan K. Cary

Joan K. Cary, 89, of Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at Hospice Home of Hope.  She was born May 28, 1934 in Marinette, WI, the daughter of Raymond and Violet (Evans) Staniszewski.  On December 26, 1953 she married James R. Cary in Milwaukee.

She is survived by her husband, James; two children, Catherine (Thomas) Halfmann and William (Marlene) Cary; five grandchildren; great grandchildren; one sister, Carol DuCharme; nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents and five sisters.

At Joan’s request there will be no visitation or service.   Cremation has taken place and burial will be in St. Charles Cemetery.
