Jodi Lynn Will, age 60, passed away peacefully on October 25, 2026, with her family by her side. Jodi was born March 12th, 1966, to Richard and Joyce Pickart. She attended Goodrich High School, graduating in 1984. She married her husband Darwin Will on November 25, 1989. She worked at Besst Roller for 15 years and most recently at Fox Lake Correctional for 17 years, retiring in 2023. Jodi enjoyed shooting pool & darts, spending time with her family and prior to her health issues, was a very involved member of the Eagles Club.
Jodi was fun-loving, strong-willed and full of personality and if you spent time with her either your cheeks or your side hurt from laughing so much. She had a stubborn streak and was never one to sugar-coat things; she told it like it was, whether you were ready hear it or not! She lived life on her own terms, spoke her mind and was unapologetically herself. Beneath that feisty spirit was a heart of gold and a love for those closest to her, especially her grandchildren. She was one of a kind, and she will be remembered for her honesty, her loyalty and love for those closest to her.
Jodi is survived by her husband, Darwin; sons, Nicholas (Jennifer) and Nathan Will; her grandchildren, Connor and Emma; her parents, Richard & Joyce Pickart; sisters, Traci (Jeff) Borgen and Shannon (Steve) Kolden; nephew, Ignatious; and niece Finley. Special cousins and best friends since birth Shelley (Mike) Bach, and Lisa Jensen; as well as many other aunts and uncles, in-laws, cousins, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Clifford & Elsie Pickart; maternal grandparents, Leander & Germaine Sabel; father and mother-in-law; Clarence and Ruth Will; sister-in-law, Beverly Abitz; aunt & uncle, Barbara & Phil Gustafson; aunts, Marie Pickart, Julie Riese; and uncles, Ronald White and Paul Holsen. She will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her.
The visitation will be held on Sunday, November 1, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place.
