JOSEPH M. SCHAEFERJoseph M. Schaefer, age 30, of Fond du Lac, his loving Lord called him home on Sunday, September 12, 2004 at his residence. He was born on November 24, 1973 in Fond du Lac, the son of Lawrence G. and Susan M. Bird Schaefer. On September 27, 1997 he married Michelle A. Fink at Covenant United Methodist Church, Fond du Lac. He was a graduate of Goodrich High School Class of 1992. He was a salesman for ARMR Roofing Siding and Windows. He was a member of Covenant United Methodist Church, and Fond du Lac Eagles Aerie #270. He was a former Boy Scout, he played Fond du Lac Youth Baseball, he was umpire, he enjoyed bowling, golfing, and was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. SURVIVORS: his wife Michelle A. Schaefer, two children, Dallas and Sierra, his mother Susan Bird-Schaefer of Oshkosh, his father and stepmother Larry G. and Joyce Schaefer of Fond du Lac, two brothers who were his best friends, Robert (Shelly) Schaefer of Brownsville, and L. Eric Schaefer of Oshkosh, paternal grandmother Madonna Schaefer of Oakfield, inlaws, Jenny (Brad) Steinman of Fond du Lac, Sarah Fink of Fond du Lac, Paula Abhold of Crystal Lake, IL, Mike, Kevin, and Tammy Fink of Fond du Lac, mother in law, Diane (Ed) Gailey of Beaver Dam, stepmother in law, Rhonda Fink of Fond du Lac, one nephew, Caleb Schaefer, three nieces, Steely and Cameron Schaefer, Sky Snyder, further survived by aunts, uncles, and many special friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Lawrence Schaefer, maternal grandparents, Robert and Nellie Bird, and an infant brother.



VISITATION: Tuesday, September 21, 2004 from 4-8 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. FUNERAL: Wednesday, September 22, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at Covenant United Methodist Church with the Reverend Charles Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Town of Oakfield. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9:00 A.M. until the time of services. A memorial has been established for Sierra and Dallas at the Bank of Oakfield, 103 S. Main St, Oakfield, WI 53065.
