Katherine I. "Kathy" Eggers

Katherine I. “Kathy” Eggers, 74, of North Fond du Lac, died Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at the Hospice Home of Hope in Fond du Lac. She was born in Harlingen, Tex. on February 1, 1944, a daughter of Martin and Ruth (Hefter) Heaney.



Kathy enjoyed golfing, reading, knitting, and sewing. In addition, she loved quilting, playing cards, fishing and lastly, gardening. She was a member of Holy Family Catholic Community Parish and the Fond du Lac Kennel Club. Kathy was an employee of Mercury Marine for forty years.



Survivors include two sons, Gary Grainger and Kevin Grainger; daughter, Sandra (Wenc) Gamez; three grandchildren, Brandon Wielgosh, Jaime Grainger and Amanda Grainger; four sisters, Mary (Jack) Karst, Patricia Steverson, Deborah (Rick) Johnson, and Geri (Lance) Lemmenes; four brothers, Wayne (Annie) Gregor, Gerald Gregor, James (Lorie) Gregor and Thad (Phyllis) Heaney; step-sister, Dodie (JohnRon) Powers; loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; and an abundance of amazing friends. She was preceded in death by her parents.



A private memorial service will be held at a later date followed by inurnment in Chapel of the Risen Christ Mausoleum, Calvary Cemetery. Cremation has taken place.
