Kathryn E. Boehrig

February 26, 1914 — January 31, 2008

Kathryn E. Boehrig, age 93 formerly of 142 East Bank Street and since 2004 a resident of 146 Yacoub Lane where she resided with her daughter and son -in-law Janice and Stan Simpson died Thursday, January 31, 2008 at the Hospice Home of Hope. She was born in Fond du Lac on February 26, 1914 the daughter of Andrew and Clara Beyer Sanders. On August 21, 1931 she married Earl Boehrig at St. Joseph's rectory. Kathryn volunteered at Manor Care for over 20 years. She was a member of Holy Family Parish formerly a member of St. Louis Church and its Altar Society. She enjoyed cooking and baking especially baking birthday cakes. She was a mother to all her grandkids.Survivors include her three children, Dennis (Betty) Boehrig, Fond du Lac, Joseph (Mary) Boehrig, Grand Rapids, Michigan and Janice (Stan) Simpson, Fond du Lac, nine grandchildren, Deborah Boehrig, Fond du Lac, Tim (Ellen) Boehrig, St. Cloud, Patrick (Peggy) Boehrig, Charleston, South Carolina, Linda (Mike) Mancuso, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Pamela (Doug) Miller, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Joseph (Tonya) Boehrig, Grand Rapids, Michigan, Michael (Carel) Schmidlkofer, Island Lake, Illinois, Steven (Lorann) Schmidlkofer, Vancouver Washington, Judy (Steve) Roth, Fond du Lac, nineteen great- grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Two sisters Lois Letourneau, Fond du Lac, Joan Cruciani, Eden, and many nieces and nephews, further survive Kathryn. Her parents preceded her in death, husband Earl on June 24, 1998, a grandson Jeff Boehrig, one sister Carol (Francis) Hein, two brother-in-laws, Paul Letourneau and Nick Cruciani.



VISITATION: Friends may call on Monday, February 4, 2008 at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way from 10:00 A.M. to 12:00 Noon. FUNERAL: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 12:00 Noon at Holy Family Church, 271 4th Street Way with Reverend Carmelo Giuffre officiating. Burial will follow at St. Charles Cemetery, Town of Taycheedah.In lieu of flowers, Masses for Kathryn or memorials appreciated in her name to Hospice Home of Hope would be appreciated.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
