Kenneth A. Rosenthal, age 98, of North Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, December 23, 2025, at St. Agnes Hospital. He was born on February 14, 1927, in Fond du Lac, the son of Fred and Lucy (Bresman) Rosenthal. Ken served in the United States Navy from 1944-46, stationed in the Pacific Theatre. On June 28, 1952, he married Jean Wild in North Fond du Lac. Ken worked at Giddings & Lewis for 40 years until retirement in 1990. He enjoyed fishing, trapping, woodworking, gardening, and tinkering with stuff. Ken and Jean are members of Trinity Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Jean; children, Kim (Mark) Hopper, Jay (Barbara) Rosenthal, Jed (Bambi) Rosenthal, and Jeff Rosenthal; eleven grandchildren, Dave (Amy) Hopper, Scott (Tonya) Hopper, John (Melissa) Hopper, Katie (Jered) Stewart, Shannon (Ron) Mueller, Courtney (TJ) Azzolina, Josh (Macy) Rosenthal, Elizabeth (Luke) Rhoades, Kenny Rosenthal, Hannah (Talon) Koger, Sam Rosenthal; 15 great-grandchildren; and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, Justin Rosenthal; two brothers, Clarence (Helen) Rosenthal and Harold Rosenthal; one sister, Doris DeTardo; and his beloved dog, Annie.
Visitation will take place on Friday, January 2, 2026, from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Trinity Baptist Church, 400 E. Johnson St, Fond du Lac, WI, 54935. A funeral service will follow the visitation at the church at 3:00 PM. Private family burial will take place at Rosendale Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials in Ken’s name may be directed to Trinity Baptist Church or the Fond du Lac Humane Society.
