Leo H. Kowal

Leo H. Kowal, 61 of Fond du Lac, died peacefully at Hospice Home of Hope on June 17,2007 after a courageous battle with cancer.He was born April 9, 1946 in Pawtucket, Rhode Island to Frank J. Kowal Sr. of Ormond by the Sea, Florida and the late Theresa L. Kowal (Genereux).On July 27, 1991 he married Rosanne Walther (Simon) at St. Louis Church and was a member of Holy Family Parish.Leo was a member of the Eagles; he was formerly employed at Con Agra, Mayville, until the time of his illness and previously at Heritage Wafer, Ripon and Regal Ware, Kewaskum.He is survived by his loving wife Rosanne, and his loving daughter Amanda and Steve Stalker, special friend to Amanda and close friend to Leo; his father, Frank J. Kowal Sr.,Ormond by the Sea, FL; brothers, Joseph (Barbara) Kowal, Brighton, MI; James (Barbara) Kowal,,Torch Lake, MI; Lawrence Kowal Highland, MI; Andrew (Christine) Kowal, Westland, MI; Frank (Ylenn) Kowal, Farmington, NM; sisters, Mary (Robert) Frank, Redford, MI; Theresa (James) Frank,Redford, MI; many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, and nephews.He was preceded in death by his mother, Theresa L. Kowal in 2002.



Visitation will be held on Thursday June 21, 2007 from 1 to 3pm at Holy family parish-St. Mary's Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 3PM at the church.
