Lois M. StepnoskiLois M. Stepnoski, 84, formerly of 745 W. Scott St. and currently a resident of St. Francis Home died Friday, May 7, 2004 at the home. Lois was born August 22, 1919 in Spring Green, WI, a daughter of Robert and Mabel Johnson Douglas. In 1943 she married Sylvester Stepnoski in Hyattsville, MD, who preceded her in death in 1988. Lois was a 1940 graduate of Beloit College, earning a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Sociology. She was a member of Pi Phi Sorority. Prior to her marriage, she worked at Marquette University and was student personnel administrator at the University of Maryland. She was a charter member of Pilgrim United Church of Christ.Survivors include two daughters; Ann (Thomas) Yockey of Milwaukee, Jean Stepnoski of Fond du Lac, and four grandchildren; Elizabeth Yockey, Joshua (Danielle) Yockey, Heidi Yockey, and Megan Yockey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and one brother; Thomas Douglas.



Visitation for Mrs. Stepnoski will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2004 from 12 Noon until the time of services at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 12, 2004 at 2:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Calvary Cemetery.The staff of Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
