Loretta E. Berg

Loretta E. Berg, 91, formerly of Fond du Lac and currently a resident of Ripon died Tuesday, June 29, 2004 at Ripon Medical Center. Loretta was born August 20, 1912 in the Town of Byron, a daughter of Gustav and Ida Pruss Butz. On August 20, 1932 she married Elmer Berg in Fond du Lac. He preceded him in death on November 11, 1986.Loretta worked as a housekeeper for Arthur and Thelma Sadoff for many years. She was an active member of Church of Peace United Church of Christ before moving to Ripon.Survivors include one nephew; Rick (Sue) Butz of Ripon, two grandchildren; Todd (Cheri) Butz of Fond du Lac and Stacy (Tomas) Camacho of Fond du Lac, and five great grandchildren; Abigail and Brett Butz of Fond du Lac and Aidon, Carson and Quinton Camacho of Fond du Lac. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, one son; Eugene Berg, and one grandson; Brian Butz.



Visitation for Mrs. Berg will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 from 4-7 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 2, 2004 at 7:00 P.M. at the funeral home with the Rev. Gerald Bertsch officiating. Burial will follow on Saturday at Ledgeview Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorials in Loretta's name may be directed to Church of Peace-United Church of Christ.Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
