Lorita M. Driscoll

Lorita M. Driscoll, 85, of Fond du Lac, passed away peacefully at SSM Health Hospital on

August 14, 2023. She was born on April 12, 1938, in Spencer Wisconsin, the daughter of

Edward and Anne Fravert (Dittner). On June 13, 1959, she married James Driscoll in Spencer,

Wisconsin.

Lorita was employed as an instructional aide for 18 years at Franklin School in Fond du Lac,

retiring in 1996. Lorita was a past member of Hope Lutheran Church choir, a past President of

Evans School PTO, and past President of the Fond du Lac Jaycettes. She enjoyed making

quilts for her family, gardening, cooking, fishing and staying at a family retreat in Northern

Wisconsin.

Preceding her in death were her parents, two brothers Edward and Lee, one sister Carol, and

James, her husband and best friend. Survivors include her children: Dale (Shelley)

Driscoll-Wilcox of Fond du Lac, Lynn (John) Krueger of Madison, and Thomas (Sandra)

Driscoll of Hartford. She is also survived by six beloved grandchildren, Dawn (Todd)

Whittaker of Fond du Lac, Ann (John) Maul of Fond du Lac, Kayla (Wade) Coisman-Driscoll of Lake Mills, Rebecca (Ryan) Vamosy of Oshkosh, Sadie (Mitch) Einbeck of Brodhead and Spencer Driscoll of Hartford; five great grandchildren, Bren, Colby and Wyatt Whittaker, Rhiannon Coisman and Jonah Vamosy.

Visitation will be held from 12:00 PM -1:30 PM on August 18, 2023, at Hope Lutheran Church, 260 Vincent Street, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin. Funeral services will follow visitation at 1:30 PM with Pastor Phillip Enderle officiating. Lorita’s final resting place will be at Shrine of Rest Mausoleum, Ledgeview Memorial Park, Fond du Lac, Wisconsin.

Memorials may be directed to Hope Lutheran Church music fund or the church Day Care

Center.
