Lorraine E. Laronge

July 16, 1924 — September 6, 2022

Lorraine E. LaRonge, 98, of Fond du Lac, died Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at Woodland Senior Park. She was born July 16, 1924, in Kenosha, Wisconsin, the daughter of Emil and Rose (Plaman) Rolloff. Lorraine was a graduate of Winnebago Lutheran Academy and a member of St. Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church of Fond du Lac. She was a financial officer at Threshman’s Mutual Insurance before her retirement. Lorraine loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is survived by her son, Carl LaRonge; three grandsons, Scott (Stacy), Chad (Jill) and Brett (Amy) LaRonge; six great grandchildren, Bryan, Sarah, Jake, Abby, Taylor, and Allie LaRonge; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; granddaughter, Nicki LaRonge-Tesch; daughter-in-law, Judi LaRonge; four siblings, Gertrude Vetter, Gerhard “Gary” Rolloff, Earl Rolloff, and Elda Ruth Kopitzke.

A graveside service will be held at Ledgeview Memorial Park.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to the staff of Woodlands Senior Park and Generations Hospice for the care and compassion given to Lorraine.
