Lorraine A. Leege Addison

Lorraine A. Leege Addison, 91, of Fond du Lac, died on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at Frontida Assisted Living in Fond du Lac. She was born on June 7, 1935, in Pembine, WI, the daughter of William and Margaret (Amond) Bates. Lorraine graduated from Rhinelander High School in 1953. On June 26, 1954, she married Harold “Norm” Leege in Rhinelander, WI. Harold passed away on August 13, 1999. Lorraine was a former member of Holy Family Church, Fond du Lac, WI, and a current member of St. Catherine’s of Siena Catholic Church, Ripon, WI. Lorraine and her husband owned and operated several businesses in Fond du lac before retiring in 1989. On August 8, 2005, she married John Addison in Michigan. John passed away on June 12, 2019.

She is survived by two daughters, Luann Burkhardt and Mary Leege, both of Fond du Lac; six grandchildren, Christopher (Aimee) Burkhardt, Casey (Samanatha) Burkhardt, Corey (fiancée, Katie) Burkhardt, Shawna Talakowski, Stephanie (Stephen) Steffes, and Shane Leege; seven great grandchildren, Aaron, Briella, Charlie, Landon, Natalie, Lenna, and Adaline; sister, Kathy Bates; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, William and Margaret; two husbands, Harold Leege and John Addison; and sister, Barbara Frank.

The visitation will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Burial will follow the visitation at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, 218 Blossom Street, Ripon, WI, 54971.
