Lucinda R. "Cindy" Duel

Lucinda R. “Cindy” Duel, 84, of Eldorado, died Friday, October 31, 2025, at St. Agnes Hospital in Fond du Lac. She was born on January 24, 1941, in the township of Lamartine, to Ernest and Anna (Mueller) Klatt. On February 6, 1968, Cindy married Jack W. Duel at Church of Peace in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on November 5, 2018.

Cindy worked at Mercury Marine until her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed reading, doing puzzles and watching the Green Bay Packers, and Milwaukee Brewers.

She is survived by her three children, Jodie Duel, Karen Duel, and Jason (Darleen) Duel, all of Eldorado; three grandchildren, Deklin, Keanu, and Kira Duel; brother, Kenny (Rose) Klatt of Mequon; and two sisters, Dianne Klatt, and Rosetta Pahl, both of New Holstein. She is further survived by in-laws, Joan Duel of North Fond du Lac, Marge Williams of Oshkosh, John Duel of Rosendale, Scott (Monica) Duel of Eldorado, Terry (Sue) Duel of Eldorado, Jeff (Sandy) Duel of Eldorado, and Mark (Debbie) Duel of Rosendale, as well as nieces, nephews and other relatives. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin Klatt, and Ernest Klatt, Jr.; two sisters, Lulabelle (Fred) Thomson, and Marlene (Tony) Smurawa; and in-laws Joseph Duel, Mary Duel, William Williams, and Robert Pahl.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM, Saturday, December 13, 2025, at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Cremation has taken place with a private inurnment to be held at a later date in North Eldorado Cemetery.
