Margaret D. Laehn

Margaret D. Laehn, age 95, formerly of N8039 Lakeshore Dr, Fond du Lac, died Sunday, June 13, 2004 at Golden Years Community Home in Fond du Lac. She was born on September 15, 1908 in Fond du Lac the daughter of Fredrick and Mary Raschke Pucker. On September 17, 1927 she married Arthur Laehn in Fond du Lac. He preceded her in death on May 12, 1980. Together they owned and operated Laehn Music House for over forty years. She was a member of the United Church of Christ-Church of Peace and was active in the Ladies organizations at church as well as Jobs Daughters and Eastern Star. SURVIVORS: two children, her son David (Peggy) Laehn of Fond du Lac, her daughter Carole (James) Megellas of Colleyville, TX, four grandchildren, Mark (Janet) Laehn of Muskego, Julie (Michael) Wuest of Fond du Lac, James (Michelle) Megellas of Colleyville, TX, Stephen (Laurette) Megellas of Richardson, TX,, five great grandchildren, Matthew and Lindsay Wuest of Fond du Lac, Trace, Mckenzie, and Marshall Megellas of TX, , two sisters in law, Lois Laehn and Rose Hayes both of Antigo, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Arthur, four brothers, and three sisters.



VISITATION: Thursday, June 17, 2004 from 4-7:15 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home. Services will be held following visitation on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at 7:15 P.M. at Uecker-Witt Funeral Home with the Reverend Richard Weikel and Rev. Dr. Martin Koehler officiating. Family committal services will take place on Friday at Estabrooks Cemetery at 9:00 A.M.Memorials are appreciated towards the Organ Fund at Church of Peace. Uecker-Witt Funeral Home is serving the family.
